Definitive Technology’s Mythos Ten is the best on-wall model in their Mythos lineup. It uses many of the same technologies found in Definitive’s Mythos floor-standing speakers to provide a wide soundstage, pinpoint imaging, and superb realism in a slim, wall-mountable speaker cabinet. This versatile speaker can be used as a left, right, or center channel speaker in a home theater setup, and it’s designed to match 50″ or larger flat-panel TVs.

High-tech drivers for exceptionally detailed sound

At the center of the cabinet are two 5-1/4″ midrange drivers surrounding a 1″ dome tweeter. Definitive’s Balanced Dual Surround System (BDSS) driver technology helps increase the tiny speakers’ output without increasing the size of the enclosure. The pure aluminum dome tweeter produces extended highs that reveal nuance and shimmer without a trace of edginess. Flanking the midranges are two 5″ x 8″ racetrack-shaped low bass radiators, which give the Mythos Ten better bass performance than you might expect from a slim, on-wall speaker.

Gorgeous aircraft-grade aluminum cabinet

The enclosure is made of black hand-polished aluminum for a sleek look that’ll go well with most modern décors. Die-cast aluminum baskets, a resonance-free PolyStone baffle, and proprietary damping technologies built into the cabinet ensure clean sound.
